CARES Act

The CARES Act grant team has and is currently working on disbursing funds to students under Section 2003(8) of the ARP, referred to as HEERF III.  No Application is required.  Eligible students enrolled for spring 2022 on file will be awarded funds based on developing methodology.

Effective September 30, 2021, the CARES Act grant team has and is currently working on disbursing funds to students under Section 2003(8) of the ARP, referred to as HEERF III. No Application is required, eligible students enrolled for fall 2021 on file were awarded from $618.75 to $1856.25, based on the following methodology:

¸Û°Ä±¦µäwill record grant awards in the institutional system (BANNER) and process payments to students via BankMobile. Funds will be sent to students based on their selected refund preference. If no preference has been selected, BankMobile will issue checks directly to the student. See the FAQ section for options to update your BankMobile preference. The award will not be an offset to any outstanding balance the student may have.

Effective November 22, 2020, the application process has concluded and no further applications will be accepted for CARES Act grants. The CARES Act grant team is disbursing remaining funds to students during the week of December 20, 2020. Students who are Title IV eligible and have attended ¸Û°Ä±¦µäduring the Spring, Summer, or Fall 2020 semesters. Base awards for tiers as noted in the original plan below have been changed to the following: Tier 1 - $105, Tier 2 - $210, Tier 3 - $420. Students that have attended ¸Û°Ä±¦µäfor multiple semesters are eligible for an award in each semester as long as Title IV eligibility has been met in each semester.

¸Û°Ä±¦µä (NCC) acknowledges an authorized representative of the institution has signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement and the institution has used, or intends to use, no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.

¸Û°Ä±¦µähas received or will receive $6,011,060 from the Department of Education pursuant to the Certification and Agreement [for] Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.

¸Û°Ä±¦µähas prioritized awarding of Emergency Financial Aid Grants to its students in the following manner (methodology):

Under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act, students received awards ranging from $300 to $1,200.

All students will be notified of eligibility once the application is received.
